Beta Testing Guidebook

Welcome to the Neverlose.money beta testing program. You will help us improve the protocol and eliminate potential vulnerabilities. There are five testing items and you will submit the result via Google Form for each item. Please read this guidebook carefully before you begin testing.

Note: In the test vesrion, 1 month equals 1 hour.

Preparations for testing

Metamask

You need a Metamask on your browser. Please install the Metamask first if you don’t already have it - https://metamask.io/download.html. Make sure that the Ether wallet you shared with us via your beta testing program application form has been added to your Metamask.

Goerli Test Network

All the testing will be performed via the Goerli Testnet, not the main network. You need to shift your Metamask network setting to the Goerli Test Network as below.

Testing tokens

We will send you the following testing tokens - ETH (for gas fees), WETH, WBTC and HUNT. In order to see the balance of WETH, WBTC, HUNT and WRN tokens, you need to add them manually via the following steps.

Click “Add Tokens” button

Select the “Custom Token” tab, enter the token contract address, click next, and add the token to your Metamask. You need to perform this step one by one for each token. Please add the contract address below for each token:

  • HUNT: 0xD409b07cC381c3D831F7fD71C4141c86DdC2a5c6

  • WETH: 0x608f8CeB3Af57Dd3b56b480B51dcfd7E7096acA3

  • WBTC: 0x48A32932F3BD2Fd7Bb31c97570290dE9d1e8827C

  • WRN: 0xdAecEce4b065595907F04b8a9C96A9B7929Ee626

Connect to Neverlose.money site

Visit the testing website via https://beta.neverlose.money/, and click the “Connect” button (please make sure that your Metamask network setting has been changed to Goerli Testnet). Once you connect to the site, you will be able to access the dashboard.

About the test

Neverlose.money is the first-ever gamified protocol for long-term crypto investors (called HODLERS). They lock-up their crypto for a set period and get a constant bonus during their lock-up whenever other users fail to HODL (withdraw their funds within the lock-up period). All of these actions are automatically implemented by the smart contract without a third party between the HODLERS.

The following actions are the core activities in this protocol (that you will test out):

  1. Lock-up your asset with a set target period

  2. Break & withdraw the locked-up asset before the lock-up period finishes (this will incur the penalty and platform fees - these fees will be covered by the test tokens we give you)

  3. Unlock the assets that have finished lock-up period

  4. Claim the bonus incurred from someone else’s HODL failure (break & withdraw)

  5. Claim WRN tokens generated from your active locked-up assets

In the testnet, one-month lock-up is the same as one-hour lock-up (e.g. 3 months → 3 hours).

Each testing item has its own submission form.

Testing Item #1 - Lock-up

Make at least five lock-up assets by using the test tokens (you can split the test tokens to make multiple lock-up assets). You must make at least one lock-up asset in each pool (HUNT, WBTC and WETH)

Submission form - https://forms.gle/ShB4dRYLHEGXpRSj8

Choose the asset that you’d like to lock-up among WETH, WBTC, and HUNT (you can click each tab via the dashboard).

Step 1. Remember the token balance before the lock-up

Mark the token balance in your Ether wallet BEFORE the lock-up (you need to submit the number via the form).

Step 2. Remember the locked-up asset balance before the lock-up

Mark the locked-up asset balance on the Neverlose.money dashboard BEFORE the lock-up (you need to submit this number via the form).

Step 3. Lock-up your asset

Click the lock-up button, then you will see the pop-up window as below. Set the lock-up amount and period, and lock-up the asset. You need to remember the lock-up amount you enter (you need to submit this number via the form).

You will see this transaction pending message. You can access the transaction link by clicking the “View on Etherscan” button.

You can also find out the transaction link via the Metamask activity tab after the transaction is confirmed.

You need to submit the transaction link via the form.

Step 5. Check the token balance after the lock-up

Check the change in the token balance in your Ether wallet AFTER the lock-up (you need to submit the number via the form).

Step 6. Check the locked-up asset balance after the lock-up

Check the change in the locked-up asset balance on the Neverlose.money dashboard AFTER the lock-up (you need to submit this number via the form).

Perform Step 1 - 6 for other assets too

In the submission form, there are five lock-up asset details to submit. Make sure that you MUST make at least one lock-up asset in each pool (HUNT, WBTC and WETH). Please feel free to make more than five lock-up assets if you have more time.

Testing Item #2 - Break & Withdraw

Testing Item #4 - Claim Bonus

Check whether you get the bonus from someone else’s HODL failure (break & withdraw). Whenever someone breaks an asset that has not finished its lock-up period, the penalty is charged and it distributes to other active lock-up asset owners based on its shares to the pool. The generated bonus goes to the pending section, and you need to claim the pending amount to earn.

The generated WRN goes to the pending section, and you need to claim the pending amount to earn.

You will see the pending WRN tokens in each WETH, WBTC and HUNT asset separately, so you need to claim them individually. Please remember in which asset section you’re trying to claim the pending WRN (you need to submit this info via the form).
